Myndi is originally from Michigan but she has been a resident of Jacksonville since 2002. She loves how Jacksonville is such a big city with a small-town feel, and that it has great public art, local food, and there is always something to do. Myndi, her husband, and 2 children love to spend time outdoors going to the beach, fishing, camping, and riding bikes. Myndi simply adores Jacksonville and has loved watching it grow and change over the past 20 years.
Myndi is very active in her community, and also helps to run a non-profit organization called Art Creation Foundation for Children in Jacmel, Haiti. ACFFC was established in 2002 and Myndi has been involved since 2011. It is an organization for at-risk youth in Haiti which covers all education expenses for their 35 students. They also provide various art programs for them to learn skills they can use to thrive in their community when their schooling is complete. Myndi donates a portion of her commissions on each transaction to the work being done there to change the future of these students through art education! Myndi was raised in a creative home full of art, music and travel. She is now passing these experiences on to her children, teaching them by example, the importance of doing good for others.
Myndi earned her Associates Degree at Ferris State University and her Bachelor's degree at Eastern Michigan University. She has been in sales her entire life and is an expert at finding creative ways to tackle any challenge.
