Gina Kyle is a strategic communications and marketing professional with more than 30 years history of success in multiple industries. Prior to joining House & Haven, Gina served as the Media Relations Manager for one of the largest community-owned not-for-profit water, wastewater and electric utilities in the country. Known for having an eye for detail and an appreciation for teamwork, Gina was honored to successfully coordinate planning activities for two large-scale implosions during her tenure and was an active member of the volunteer advisory board that identifies opportunities for employees to serve the community.
Gina has also successfully led high achieving marketing and customer service teams for respected companies including Nordstrom, Sprint, Ameritech and the American Chemical Society. However, it was her very first position after her undergraduate studies that solidified her love for communications, where Gina served as a television and radio reporter, writer and anchor person for WGPR TV-62, an independently owned station in her hometown of Detroit, Michigan. Gina attributes her ability to listen and drill down important information as the key to her previous and current success.
Gina obtained her MBA in Marketing Management and Global Information Technology from American University, Kogod School of Business in Washington, DC. She also attended Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI, where she obtained her BA degree in Telecommunications. She is an active member of the Gamma Rho Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Her community service activities include working with children in underserved areas to identify career options that might otherwise appear out of reach. After living in several mid-west and east coast states, Gina and her husband, Michael have happily made Jacksonville their home since 2014, where they enjoy biking, bowling, reading, and whenever possible, traveling. She has a special love for the Major Taylor Cycling Club of North Florida, a chapter founded in Jacksonville by her husband in honor of the champion cyclist for which it is named. Together, they are members of Church of the Crucifixion Catholic Church where they are both lectors.
